Funds Policy Framework

Article I: General Provisions

IMHA maintains two categories of funds: ARMY Funds and Essential Funds.
These funds are established to balance IMHA’s outward charitable mission with internal sustainability.
All fund allocations must adhere to IMHA’s mission, values, and governance standards.

Article II: ARMY Funds

Section 1: Purpose ARMY Funds are dedicated to charitable, cultural, and community-driven initiatives that reflect ARMY values and IMHA’s commitment to global solidarity.

Section 2: Categories

Education & Empowerment: Scholarships, training programs, and educational outreach.
Disaster Relief & Social Welfare: Emergency aid, relief operations, and welfare support for vulnerable communities.
Cultural & Community Projects: Events, campaigns, and initiatives that strengthen cultural appreciation and community bonds.

Section 3: Governance

Allocations must be approved by IMHA’s Charitable Programs Committee.
Funds are strictly earmarked for external impact projects.
Annual reporting ensures transparency and accountability to donors and stakeholders.

Article III: Essential Funds

Section 1: Purpose Essential Funds sustain IMHA’s core operations, ensuring stability and long-term viability. They cover foundational needs that allow IMHA to function effectively.

Section 2: Categories

Foods: Meals and refreshments for staff, volunteers, and members during organizational activities, cultural events, workshops, and relief operations.
Clothing: Uniforms, traditional attire (e.g., hanbok), and event-specific garments for IMHA staff and members. Clothing distribution initiatives tied to IMHA’s operational mandate.
Business Investments: Ventures that generate sustainable income streams aligned with IMHA’s mission. Diversification of income sources to reinforce financial resilience.

Section 3: Governance

Allocations must be approved by IMHA’s Finance Committee.
Expenditures are documented and reported annually.
Investments undergo risk assessment and must align with IMHA’s ethical standards.

Article IV: Key Principles

ARMY Funds = outward-facing, charitable, and community impact.
Essential Funds = inward-facing, operational, and sustainability support.
Together, they ensure IMHA can give generously to communities while sustaining itself responsibly.

Essential Funds

Proposal Stage
- Initiated by: Operations Team / Finance Staff
- Purpose: Foods, clothing, and business investments for sustainability
Approval Stage
- Reviewed by: Finance Committee
- Criteria: Operational necessity, ethical standards, risk assessment
Implementation Stage
- Execution: Administrative staff and program managers
- Oversight: Finance Committee monitors expenditures
Reporting Stage
- Annual report submitted to: IMHA Executive Board
- Includes: Operational costs, investment performance, sustainability outcomes

IMHA Funds Application Requirements

Article I – General Eligibility

Applicants must be active members of IMHA and demonstrate commitment to its cultural and charitable mission.
Applications will only be considered if all membership and community participation requirements are fulfilled.

Article II – Mandatory Membership and Participation

Clause 1 – A.R.M.Y Connect Membership

Applicants must join The MinCie’s A.R.M.Y Connect via the official application portal: https://min-cies-army-connect-cff932b1.base44.app
Proof of membership must be attached to the application.

Clause 2 – Affiliate Membership ID

Applicants must obtain and maintain an Affiliate Membership ID through IMHA Connect: https://imha-connect-e26abb62.base44.app
The Affiliate Membership ID must be valid and verifiable at the time of application.

Clause 3 – MinCie Book Club Sanctuary Participation

Applicants must join the MinCie Book Club Sanctuary: https://min-cie-book-club-sanctuary-e2ca50ec.base44.app
Active participation in book club activities is encouraged and may be reviewed during application assessment.

Article III – Verification and Compliance

All membership credentials and participation records must be submitted with the application.
IMHA reserves the right to verify membership status and participation through the respective platforms.
Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in automatic disqualification.

Article IV – Amendments

IMHA may amend these requirements at any time to reflect organizational priorities.
Applicants are responsible for reviewing the most current requirements prior to submission.
