ABOUT US

The Fan Cafe offers a uniquely calm BTS-themed atmosphere where people can gather with family and friends to catch up over a hot chocolate or enjoy a relaxed lunch and with other Co-ARMYs around.

The Fan Cafe has been established primarily to sell refreshment drinks such as milk tea, shakes, snacks, and light meals. We have a diversification of menu offerings from salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, pastries, pizza to Korean foods. We started our business on June 13, 2021, in celebration of BTS's 8th year of Debut Anniversary. And we started off by transforming the Residential living area as our Fan Cafe lounge and moved on to keeping the terrace as an extension of the Fan Cafe dining.

Other services we offer:

        1. Aromatic therapy

We ask our customers to choose from a selection of aromatic essential oils for the humidifier to give a nice therapeutic ambiance of the environment while they eat out with us:

 a. Rose  b. Jasmin  c. eucalyptus   d. Vanilla   e. Strawberry   f. lavender g. Lemon

        2. Disco Nights

For a certain hour until 10 pm we offer our customers the night with disco lights and BTS/various artists music for a minimal cost per hour of 25 pesos.

        3. Indoor Games

In a corner from the Fan Cafe lounge, there are board games such as scrabble, chess, and monopoly to play with and relax. BTS UNO cards are also available to play with your friends at a rental cost of 20 pesos for the whole day. They can play all the indoor games available within that day.

        4. Viewing of BTS MV, concerts, run episodes or watching NETFLIX

In the Fan Cafe Lounge,  an area is available for watching the TV at 25 pesos per hour.

We have 6 types of customers in the community whom you'll find in our cafe,  to impress:

  • 1. The Couple.    Providing great customer service does not always mean doing things by the book. And by this we mean, not every customer appreciates a prompt check back or the offer of second order. Whether they’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or Valentine’s Day, the dates couples are the ones where the ambiance must be romantic, tranquil, and very intimate. To create this atmosphere, we always start with the decor and subdued lighting. Incorporating scented candles or a humidifier with aromatic essential oils of their choice, a rose on each table, and shades of red into our table can work wonders, on the terrace – fairy lights and flowers for that fairytale feel. BTS soft music flowing throughout the room encourages conversation and greater consumption – which is always great for our profit margins. Impeccable service is a must too – ensuring the couples’ drinks are always flowing – and they’ll be recommending us to their friends in no time.

  • 2. The Foodies.    When it comes down to it, foodies are looking for adventure and surprise in their dishes, but they also tend to be ethical consumers. Driven by environmental and health concerns, another way to impress foodies is by highlighting the organic meats and non-meat protein alternatives that we offer and even offering these foodies a chance to create their own meals with the ingredients that we provide. This collaborative approach will encourage creativity, and create a truly unique experience that very few restaurants offer. It’s also a bonus that these ingredients are grown locally – as support of local businesses helps to emphasize a community spirit that foodies just love to be a part of.

  • 3. The Family in a Rush.  Nothing aggravates a parent more than a hungry child and slow service. We banish this fear by creating a 15-minute menu, stamped with a guarantee that the food will come out within 15 minutes or our customer will be entitled to a refund. In addition, we accommodate children. Children don’t mind waiting for food when they have a distraction, so we provide activities for our customers’ kids to do, such as colouring books, chalkboards and metal boards with magnetic words and phrases where they can create works (and words) of art. Another great distraction for younger children are game stations – simply set aside in a corner of our lounge and have a couple of jigsaws and games for them to play. The time will fly by, and everyone will have a much more enjoyable time too. Less crying and screaming. More playful laughter.

  • 4. The Solo Diner.   We offer popular dishes in small or large plates, and always ask whether starters or side orders should come with the mains. We always bear in mind that for some solo diners, eating out alone can feel awkward and make them feel as if everyone is staring at them or judging them for eating out alone. Providing entertainment – whether that’s BTS's musical video, or a BTS's comedy act on their episode run – can refocus everyone’s attention, and give every single customer something to enjoy while they eat their meals.

  • 5. The student.    We get to know our students as a real fan of BTS so we make sure they are serviced with free wifi most specially at the Mini-library when they utilize it for completing their assignments or modules. The mini-library is decorated with BTS's wallpapers and pictures for inspiration. They get a chance to listen to BTS podcasts while they study or just while they eat some light meals with us. And to celebrate their tasks they get to attend a disco in the evening in the music room until 10pm, although this disco night can also be attended by the general public.

  • 6. The Regulars.   We work hard to remember our customers’ orders or preferred condiments, especially if they are likely to utter the words, `same again, please`.  We refrain from up-selling our menu too much, as regular customers appreciate the simplicity of knowing what we offer inside and out.And we reward our regulars for their  loyalty... gift vouchers, coupons and customer loyalty schemes are always a great idea, as are birthday and anniversary deals that ingrain our cafe in their memories. It’s likely that many of our regulars live locally, so partnering with local businesses for our stock and for charity events can make us a true star of our local area. It’s the little things that make a big difference after all.
